My Covid Treatment Plan

By October 23, 2021 April 9th, 2022 No Comments

and pretty much my Influenza/Cold Treatment Plan

In this article I show in significant detail that the overall fatality rate of Covid is very low, with the WHO reporting fatality rate of 0.15%. Of course this differs significantly depending on age and comorbidity. In that same article I also reference data by the CDC which shows that of all reported ‘covid’ deaths in the US, 95% have an average of 4 additional co-factors, such as diabetes, obesity, alzheimers, heart disease and so forth. This skews the risk so much, that those over 80 have up to 1,000 times higher chance of death or serious outcomes resulting from Covid. (with influenza that it about 400x for the same age group compared with 18-30 year olds)

This lowers the risk significantly in my opinion, especially for those who are relatively healthy and fit. UK data referenced also shows you have a 99.8% chance of recovering from Delta or 99.98% if you are under 50. Very low numbers indeed.

However though: there is a risk and this virus is nothing to sneeze at! Although far less likely, you can get seriously sick if you are healthy. So what can we do about it? I decided I would not simply wait for a positive test result and then panic. I decided to be prepared. Turns out the effective treatment options are pretty much the same as Influenza.

Before I go on, these are my personal thoughts. You must make up your own informed opinion and make your own decisions. Talk to a medical professional you trust and who knows your personal circumstances. Don’t feel pressured into something you are uncomfortable with. Take charge of your own health!

Baseline: Pray, Meditate on Scripture and don’t worry!

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 27:1

So, you have symptoms of Covid or tested positive to Covid, or have been in very close contact with a Covid-symptomatic patient. What next?

1. Have a line in the sand

I think it is important to have a plan and be clear, especially if you decide to treat at home with non allopathic therapies, about when to go to hospital. Yes, DON’T be stupid. I use nutrition, prayer, homeopathy and many ‘alternative’ natural treatments and therapies for myself and my family. However, in the more serious ailments, I begin by committing myself to stop trying and cut over to ‘conventional’ medical treatment (ie anti-biotics, pharmaceuticals, hospital treatment) well before it is too late.

If things are not improving, seek help! Be wise about it and hand over control if you are not.

Sorry to labour this point, but being a public article, this had to be said first.

Covid Focus:

Keep a diary to track times and treatments, as well as notable disease changes/events!

Using a digital medical thermometer I keep eye on temperature. Fever helps kill the virus, but keep watchful eye. Start to get ready to go to hospital if temperature at 39 degrees Celcius. I have a hard line: 40 degrees and no signs of improving, but no need to wait to that point if things are not improving and getting worse!

Using an oxymeter, I keep an eye on oxygen and pulse. We have some asthmatics at home, so this is standard equipment in my house. If you don’t have one – get one. My hard line: 90% and getting worse.

Anything from 94% and higher is fine. Make sure you have no nail-polish on the finger you use 🙂

UPDATE 8 Jan 2022: Dr. Shankara Chetty explains that Covid-19 is bi-phasic and that for some the second phase, which starts on day 8, an allergic type reaction can kick in to the spike protein, where the patient may start panting and be short of breath. Oxygen can drop rapidly during the day! For this phase there is no viral load to deal with! Most have already fully recovered and it comes as a surprise. It is important to take Quercetin and over-the counter anti-histamine if this occurs, this is also where coricosteroids may be needed! Also consult your doctor to discuss Dr. Chetty’s protocol.

Using blood pressure gauge, keep track of blood pressure. This is particularly important if you have some obesity. Since ‘normal’ numbers can vary slightly, the follow through with a medical professional is when it is significantly different from what is considered normal for you.

The blood pressure meter also measures pulse, besides systolic and diastolic pressure. The machine will indicate an ‘average’ band.

2. Don’t poison yourself

Sounds simple right? But to me it means I do not put anything in or on my body that I would not put in my mouth. For me this includes an approach to any (p)harmaceutical as absolute last resort! Also, avoid processed/junk ‘foods’, but especially sugar and vegetable/seed oils!

Covid Focus:

I do not take the poisonous Covid-19 “vaccines”. There is mounting evidence the down side is greater than potential positives, not to mention that your real/absolute risk of death is extremely low already. So there is little to gain in the first place. (95% relative effectiveness in trials does not mean you have a 95% absolute reduction in real life! Think about it.)

Asprin – take 325mg daily during active treatment. This is an anti-coagulant, which is particularly important with SARS-COV2 (Covid19)

3. Get proper nutrition

Eat real food and avoid processed food, as much as you can. Organic, grass fed, anti-biotic free and as natural as you can get. Absolutely NO seed (vegetable) oils and NO sugar (or high fructose corn syrup)-based junk ‘foods’. Also avoid high carb/high GI based meals, as this will mess with your insulin and so your metabolism.

Default prevention:

To augment a reasonably healthy diet (not striving for perfection, but a balance between good health and little enjoyment), my family use organic food based nutraceuticals.

Pro Vitality is a daily staple for me. It contains multiple key supplements.

Image of Betagard

Betagard is another one I use daily – it seems to have the perfect combination of anti-oxidants.

Image of Formula IV

You can see my daily supplements on this page. Not showing, but I also take a Herbal Rest and Relax each night. While my wife likes to take the Neolife Formula IV too.

(Disclaimer, we are registered distributors of the Neolife range of products. Our income from this sideline hobby is to cover the cost of our own personal use.)

Active Covid Focus:

Extra supplementation is needed with higher risk of exposure or during illness!

Prophylactic and Active Treatment plan for nutritional supplementation:

Use only quality organic food-source based nutritionals

Clean filtered water! – You must stay hydrated. (not shown of course 🙂 )

Zinc increase to 30-45mg daily (2-3 tablets) for prevention or to 100mg daily during active treatment (3 tablets in morning, 3 at night) – balance covered by Formula IV and Betagard.

Vitamin C increase to 500-1000mg 2 x daily ( 2 tablets in morning, 2 at night)

Selenium is important too, which is already sufficiently available in Betagard and Pro Vitality

Flavonoids (promotes circulation and is anti-inflamatory) – increase to 2 a day for prevention or 2 in morning and 2 at night for active treatment. You can suck on this too if you have a sore throat.

Omega III Salmon Oil Plus (anti inflammatory) increase to 3 capsules twice daily. Stay away from highly inflammatory foods, such as ‘vegetable/seed’ oils, dairy and other processed foods.

Vitamin D3 – It is important you sit in the Sun for 10mins (summer) 20mins (winter) twice daily if possible and get sufficient exposure to 15-20% of your body. A small amount of Vitamin D3 is available from our Cal-Mag product, which can help with muscle cramps and help relax at night time (Calcium is a natural relaxing agent.) For nutritional augmentation I suggest buying a capsulated or liquid dropper version from your local chemist. Take 1,000-3,000 IU per day (prevention) and 5,000 IU every few days during active treatment

Vitamin E Complex– not only a powerful anti-oxidant, but also thins the blood. It supports heart health and also promotes lung and immune function. This is especially helpful for those with extra weight. It also helps lower blood pressure. (Asprin is advisable too during active treatment, as is Garlic) Take 1 a day extra during active treatment.

Garlic-Allium Complex – powerful anti-viral, anti-microbial agent. Promotes good gut health. Garlic phytonutrients help to maintain healthy blood pressure and cholesterol levels. (Take 1 tablet daily for early prevention or 2 during active treatment).

Also strongly recommended:

Melatonin (requires a prescription) – 6mg at night as early preventative and 10mg each night during active treatment. Homeopathic 6x formulation also available over the counter.

Quercetin – 250mg per day as part of prevention protocol, 250mg 2 x daily during active treatment. Quercetin can help uptake of Zinc, but this may already be covered by Flavonoid complex. Must have on hand!

Nigella Sativa / Black Cumin seed – 800mg-1,000mg or equiv. 4 x daily during prevention, or double (1,600 – 2,000mg equiv 4 x daily) during early stage active treatment. Use if no improvement after first day.

Curcumin / Tumeric – highly effective as anti-inflamatory. 500mg 2 x daily during active treatment. (I regularly put a heaped teaspoon of tumeric with some black pepper and small amount of honey in a cup with hot water to drink – you can add chamomile tea in evening)

Kefir – for good gut bacteria. This is a fermented yoghurt drink that is pro-biotic.

Acidophilus Plus is also very potent and useful in aiding your lactic acid-producing bacteria: Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus delbrueckii ssp bulgaricus, Lactobacillus paracasei, Bifidobacterium animalis ssp lactis and Streptococcus thermophilus.

Vitamin B-Complex (Threshold Controlled) – If drinking alcohol or experiencing stress extra levels of B Vitamins can be very beneficial too! I take a few as necessary in addition to the Formula IV which already contains a lot of B vitamins.

SLEEP, rest – EXERCISE a little, get Sun – STAY RELAXED

4. Naturopathic Treatments

Netti Pot / Nasal-Pharynx Rinse

Especially for viral infections, such as Covid – regular nasal rinses are important to reduce the viral load build up. Absolute first response, especially early on when exposed and during replication stage.

You can readily buy one in chemist shop (eg Fess brand). I suggest practice ahead of time. Have a full teaspoon of hymalayan rock salt or sea salt in a bit of luke-warm filtered water. If you have it, add 10ml some Chlorine DiOxide Solution to it. You can also place some Chlorine Dioxide solution in a glass in the patient’s bedroom, to help purify the air.

Aroma Therapy

(Disclaimer. While we personally use and recommend Young Living oils for their exceptional purity standards, currently we are not compensated for this. You must use our Member ID 22372940 as referrer to purchase, which may help us in future.)

I personally use these pure oils:

Thieves® – combination of Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus Radiata, and Rosemary essential oils. Use: place a couple of drops under the feet to support the immune system. In active treatment do morning and night.

Frankincense (Boswellia carterii) – can be used in diffuser, but in times of extra need for immune system. Place 2 drops under the tongue. (no more than 2 x per day.)

Purification® essential oil is made up of six essential oils for the ultimate weapon against odours and to clean the air: Citronella, Lavandin, Lemongrass, Rosemary, Myrtle, and Melaleuca Alternifolia (tea tree). Put in diffuser (can be mixed with R.C. or Lavender) to help maintain positive atmosphere, keep air clean and help you breathe and sleep. Have this in bedroom when ill suffering from common cold, influenza or other airway inflamatory illness.

R.C. essential oil is a powerful blend of Spruce, Cypress, and three types of Eucalyptus oils (E. globulus, E. radiata, and E. citriodora). Place a few drops in a handkerchief used at night and put some drops on your chest if congested. Can be added or used alone in a diffuser too. Very helpful for asthmatics and must have in current climate.

Vaporub and a mint-clove balm solution are favourites in my house during stuffy and blocked nose episodes to assist with sleep.

SAUNAS

SAUNA’s are also very good to fight viral and bacterial infections. Especially Covid/Flue, which don’t like very high temperatures. In effect, taking a sauna mimics your body’s own defence mechanism: a fever!

Homeopathics

Combination T - 1st Stage Of Illness

Step 1 must have in all early stages of illness (great panadol alternative too) is First Aid Tissue Salts Remedy, such as this trusted Schuessler 1st Stage Comb. T

For when you are overwhelmed with stress or anxiety, use Bach Rescue Remedy. A potentised herbal flower remedy that is incredibly effective to calm the nerves in any situation. Usually the first step in an accident too!

Influenza/Covid Focus:

Immune support I strongly advise talking to your local homeopath or contact me and I can refer you.

Treatment can be effective with Homeopathics too according to Manchanda RK, Miglani A, Gupta M, et al. in a 2021 study – not too mention that used in previous pandemics and the first to successfully treat malaria!

Remedies to have on hand :

(BTW: Common Cold (corona), Covid-19 and Influenza have similar symptoms and therefore similar remedy pictures)

Keep a close eye on the patient on day 8 from first day of symptoms, even when fully recovered! A second allergic inflamatory phase will often kick in. Anti-histamines, Corticosteroids may be necessary. Symptoms: shortness of breath, panting/fast breathing.

*) Ivermectin helped! I ended up getting some at day 4 of symptoms (I didn’t have any on-hand). I followed the FLCCC.net protocol and it immediately reduced the feeling of pressure in my chest, as well as resolved the chills at night. For another member of the household, having recovered from Covid a few days before, the IVM helped with post covid brain-fog. It is extremely safe and can also be used in a prophylactic capacity!

Apparently black cumin seed supplements at high dose are an alternative for ivm, albeit slightly less effective.
(I suggest you study up on this anti-parasitic drug (IVM) and how it reduced fatality to near zero in places where it is heavily relied upon as treatment.)

SAUNAs helped! I also took a daily sauna and at least one daily hot shower, this will help you sweat out toxins and bring your temperature up. Both of these you should rinse down with cold water for a couple of minutes to trap the heat in.
